Director of Member Sales & Success - FT

Location: United States (Occasional travel & on location work required)

Type: Full Time

Currently reports to: CEO

Responsibilities

Strategic Development

  • Collaborate with the CEO to set and manage member sales and retention objectives, goals, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to create detailed member sales and retention strategies across direct selling, account management, partnerships, and community.
  • Develop internal processes to achieve business objectives & KPIs.
  • Analyze and leverage consumer, market, behavioral, channel, and category trends and customer data to consistently adapt sales and success strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to evaluate messaging that leads to brand growth and retention.
  • Provide insight on product roadmap based on customer needs and company objectives.

Brand Member Sales

  • Execute and augment the overall brand sales pipeline playbook.
  • Execute and augment the overall brand sales pitch emails and meeting scripts.
  • Oversee the Account Executive and provide coaching and feedback to enhance their ability to meet their sales targets. Handle issues that are escalated.
  • Personally identify and create a sales pipeline of VIP brands and hit company targets. Manage every stage of VIP brands direct sales strategy from sourcing deals, pitching, and closing deals - Individual Contributor
  • Conceptualize and execute hosting in person events to acquire potential brand members.
  • Source prospective external events for the company to be present and put together a sales team to work those events.

Account Management - Individual Contributor

  • Personally reach out to check in with brands through email, text, and call to offer support in getting the most out of the platform & provide updates.
  • Execute and augment the brand account management playbooks.
  • Execute and augment the brand account management emails and meeting scripts.
  • Develop and oversee upselling opportunities with existing brands. 
  • Oversee the team member handling the support email. Handle issues that are escalated.

Partnerships

  • Work with the CEO to identify potential partnerships with external companies and organizations that could lead to growth in brand subscribers.
  • Work with the CEO to Identify potential partnerships with external companies and organizations that could lead brand success.
  • Oversee the project management and execution of all strategic partnerships.

Community

  • Work with the Marketing team to identify community events and communication opportunities to strengthen community engagement.
  • Be on site to attend community events and engage with members of the community.
  • Engage in conversations in our digital WhatsApp community to spark discussions and foster community engagement.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 7 years experience across B2B sales and account management
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B account management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B SMB sales experience
  • 3+ years of startup or small business experience
  • Experience managing and hiring a team
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience in the retail, fashion, or design industries
