The Role

The Folklore Group is searching for a Digital Marketing & Content Manager to lead and execute on our social, content, and email strategy. This individual will oversee creating content that will help grow our brand membership and drive revenue on our consumer marketplace. This role is a key part of the company’s leadership team and will have a significant impact on the company's membership subscription revenue and overall consumer sales revenue. This is an opportunity to join at the ground level and work closely with the CEO to develop a barrier-breaking, world-class company that will change the landscape of how independent brands globalize their business.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Create GTM strategy for new membership benefits and tech releases and work cross functionally with the team to execute on strategy

Social Media

  • Manage social media across our membership and consumer social media channels
  • Create content calendar for Meta, Tiktok, LinkedIn, and across other social media channels
  • Conceptualize and create original content and publish across all social media channels
  • Engage and interact with accounts on social media
  • Track social media performance and augment based on results

Web Content

  • Create content calendar for our blogs and knowledge center
  • Conceptualize, write, and construct blog posts and optimize for SEO
  • Conceptualize, write, and construct content for our knowledge center 
  • Make updates to our websites to ensure our brand messaging and design is consistent and up to date according to new releases and company updates. 
  • Ensure all membership and product features are being highlighted in the best way possible across our platforms through the creation of graphics, video, and imagery.

Email Marketing

  • Create content calendar for our email marketing campaigns
  • Conceptualize, write, and construct email campaigns 

Team Management

  • Manage external ad agency’s development and execution of paid search, social, and shopping advertising. Provide all necessary assets, messaging and create any necessary landing pages. Review ads before release, track performance, and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Provide briefs to freelance designers to create assets that fit with our overall brand image and messaging.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing
  • 2+ years of startup or small business experience
  • 5+ years of social media content creation and optimization experience, with strong emphasis on Tikok and Instagram
  • 2+ years of SEO experience
  • 2+ years of experience with creating and sending emails
  • 3+ years of web content writing experience
  • Experience in retail, fashion, beauty or creative industries
