Orange Culture Shares Spring/Summer 2019 Lookbook "Orange Moon"

This month Orange Culture designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal once again invites the world to take a glimpse inside of his mind with the release of the brand's Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook "Orange Moon". The new lookbook shines a light on the beautiful and complex identities of African culture. Oke-Lawal and the lookbook's photographer, Lakin Ogunbanwo, capture a moment that truly emphasizes a powerful messagehow to persevere in the face of adversity.

The brand explained it used colorful mosquito nets hanging from tree branches to symbolize a shield from the chaos and antagonization of the outside world. The burst of warm colors saturates each net exquisitely and gracefully compliments the fabrics of the collection. Shot in the Northern part of Nigeria, this lookbook was created to inspire you to look at life through the lens of love, clarity, compassion, hope, empathy, and braveness. The "Orange Moon" collection will draw you into a utopic fantasy you will not want to wake from, but hopefully contribute to in order to bring this potential reality into fruition.
